Katherine Gouch, intern
Katherine is currently a graduate student pursuing her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Townsend Institute at Concordia University Irvine. She has also completed Level II training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
Katherine has a huge heart for coming alongside those who are hurting or just need help in navigating life and relationships. Grounded in her faith, she desires to bring compassion and hope to others in need. Prior to raising children, Katherine and her husband worked with Cru in Argentina, focusing on mentoring young college students and supporting those in financial crisis. Her office for the last eighteen years, though, has been her home, parenting her five children, all with unique gifts and struggles.
Katherine has experience coming alongside those with learning disabilities, ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma, physical disabilities, relationship difficulties and marital disagreements. Her heart and care for others fosters a judgement free presence, where she will treat every client with dignity and compassion.
Katherine loves sharing a coffee with a friend, going on runs, reading and mostly spending time with her family.
Katherine will be available Wednesday afternoon and evenings starting August 28th. She would love to connect with you.
Please feel free to contact Katherine directly at kgouch@citycentercounseling.org.
