Jessica Barley, LPC
Director of Development
Jessica is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Liberty University.
Jessica worked for several years as a wedding photographer, learning the importance of perspective in how we tell stories. As a counselor, she has witnessed this principle to be true at an even deeper level, as how we view ourselves and our stories impacts how we live our lives. Jessica believes that engaging our stories from a place of honesty, curiosity, and kindness can reveal strength, provide clarity, and bring healing.
Jessica has experience working with a variety of issues, including anxiety, emotional dysregulation, addiction, OCD, relationship issues, chronic illness, infertility, and complicated life transitions. As a former foster and current adoptive parent, Jessica also has a special interest in working with foster and adoptive parents as they navigate their unique stories. Jessica uses narrative therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, bodywork, spiritual integration, and skill building as she comes alongside her clients.
When she is not working, Jessica’s four kids keep her busy. She enjoys writing, hiking, being a part of her local church, keeping chickens and bees, and good conversation.
